OnePlus is reportedly working on the OnePlus Watch 4. After a recent leak revealed the retail box image along with the model number OPWWE261, the smartwatch has now appeared on the Google Play Console. The listing reveals the device’s design and key hardware specifications ahead of its expected launch.
The Google Play Console listing confirms the marketing name as OnePlus Watch 4 and the model number OPWWE261. It also reveals an image of the smartwatch in a silver finish paired with a green strap. Reports suggest that another variant with a dark grey finish and dark blue strap could also be introduced.
The chipset details listed as Qualcomm SDM429, along with Cortex-A53 cores and Adreno 504 GPU, indicate that the smartwatch is powered by a Snapdragon W5-series platform.
The display resolution matches that of the Oppo Watch X3, suggesting similarities between the two devices.
Reports indicate that the OnePlus Watch 4 could be a rebranded version of the Oppo Watch X3, which was introduced in China earlier this year. The similarities in specifications further support this possibility.
Based on previous reports, the OnePlus Watch 4 is expected to run on WearOS 5.0 and could pack a 646mAh battery.
It is also said to feature support for eSIM, along with health tracking sensors such as ECG, heart rate monitoring, and wrist temperature measurement. Additionally, the smartwatch may come with 5ATM water resistance and IP68/69 ratings.
OnePlus has not officially confirmed the Watch 4 yet. The company is currently teasing the launch of its upcoming tablet powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, scheduled to debut on April 30 in India.
The appearance of the Watch 4 on the Google Play Console suggests that its launch could be imminent. However, there is no confirmation regarding its availability in India, especially since the previous generation did not launch in the country.
