Vivo Y600 Pro Launch Soon: 10,000mAh Battery Confirmed, Design and Camera Details Teased

Vivo has officially confirmed the launch of its next Y-series smartphone, the Vivo Y600 Pro. The handset will arrive as a successor to last year’s Vivo Y500 Pro and is already being teased in China with key details revealed ahead of launch.

The upcoming device is expected to bring a major upgrade in battery capacity, while some camera specifications appear to take a step down compared to its predecessor.

Vivo Y600 Pro Launch Teased

The company announced the Vivo Y600 Pro via a post on Weibo, confirming that the smartphone will launch soon in China. Alongside the announcement, Vivo has also revealed key highlights including the battery capacity, design, and one colour option.

The biggest talking point is the massive 10,000mAh battery, which is significantly larger than what we usually see in this segment and even surpasses its predecessor.

Design and Build

In terms of design, the Vivo Y600 Pro retains a familiar look. It features a round rear camera module, similar to the Vivo Y500 Pro, giving it a consistent design language.

The teased renders show the phone in a purple colour option, with the circular camera module surrounded by a gold accent ring. The device appears to sport a flat rear panel and a flat frame.

Physical buttons, including the power button and volume rockers, are likely placed on the right side, while the left side remains clean. An LED flash is positioned on the top-left corner of the rear panel.

Camera Details

The Vivo Y600 Pro is confirmed to feature a dual rear camera setup. It will be headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an aspheric “premium” lens.

However, this marks a downgrade compared to the Vivo Y500 Pro, which offered a 200-megapixel main camera. The secondary sensor details have not been revealed yet.

Vivo Y500 Pro Specifications (Recap)

To recall, the Vivo Y500 Pro, launched in November 2025 in China, came with a 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED display offering a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,600 nits peak brightness.

It is powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage.

For photography, the device features a dual rear camera setup with a 200-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, along with a 32-megapixel front camera.

The smartphone packs a 7,000mAh battery.

Expected Price

The Vivo Y500 Pro was launched at a starting price of CNY 1,799 (around Rs. 22,000), going up to CNY 2,599 (approximately Rs. 32,000) for higher variants.

Based on this, the Vivo Y600 Pro is also expected to be priced in a similar range, although official pricing details are yet to be announced.

With the Vivo Y600 Pro, the brand appears to be focusing heavily on battery life, introducing a massive 10,000mAh unit. More details, including full specifications and pricing, are expected to be revealed at the official launch event soon.
