Realme Note 80
Realme appears to be preparing to expand its C-series lineup in India with the launch of the Realme C81. The handset has been spotted online, revealing key details such as storage configurations and colour options, suggesting that its official debut could be imminent.
The Realme C-series has traditionally targeted the budget segment, offering features like large displays, sizeable batteries, and competitive pricing. With the Realme C81, the company is expected to continue this approach while possibly introducing durability-focused enhancements.
Notably, the device was first spotted in November 2025, but there had been no significant updates since then. Its recent reappearance indicates that the smartphone may now be close to launch.
According to details shared by industry sources, the Realme C81 carries the model number RMX5388. The handset is expected to be offered in 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variants.
In terms of colour options, the smartphone could be available in Glacier Blue Asia and Storm Black Asia finishes.
These are the first concrete details regarding the upcoming handset, further hinting at a possible launch in the near future.
An interesting development is that the Realme C81 reportedly shares the same model number as the Realme Note 80, which was launched earlier this year in markets such as the Philippines. This suggests that the Realme C81 could be a rebranded version of the Note 80 tailored for the Indian market, a strategy the company has employed in the past.
If this turns out to be accurate, the Realme C81 is likely to feature specifications similar to the Realme Note 80.
Based on the Realme Note 80, the Realme C81 could offer a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and up to 563 nits peak brightness. It may be powered by a Unisoc T7250 chipset, paired with 4GB RAM.
The smartphone is expected to run on Android 15 with Realme UI. For optics, it could feature an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera.
The device may pack a 6,300mAh battery with 15W charging support. Additionally, it could come with MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability, indicating improved resistance to drops and harsh conditions.
The expected specifications suggest that the Realme C81 will focus more on reliability and endurance rather than performance. Features like a large battery, high refresh rate display, and durability certification could make it appealing to users looking for a dependable budget smartphone.
Realme has not yet officially confirmed the launch of the Realme C81. However, if it arrives soon, the handset could be suitable for users prioritising long battery life and a large display for everyday usage. Those seeking higher performance, advanced cameras, or faster charging speeds may want to explore other options in the segment.
