
OPPO Find X9 Ultra
OPPO has introduced its latest flagship smartphone, the OPPO Find X9 Ultra, in China and global markets. The handset arrives as the company’s premium offering to compete with other top-tier flagships and brings significant upgrades in performance, battery capacity, and camera hardware. The device was unveiled alongside the Find X9s Pro and is confirmed to make its India debut in May.
The OPPO Find X9 Ultra is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and features a quad rear camera setup headlined by two 200-megapixel sensors. It also packs a large 7,050mAh battery and a high-resolution OLED display, positioning it firmly in the ultra-premium segment.
The OPPO Find X9 Ultra price in China starts at CNY 7,499 (roughly Rs. 1,02,900) for the base 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The smartphone is also offered in multiple configurations:
In European markets such as France and Germany, the handset starts at EUR 1,699 (roughly Rs. 1,87,000) for the 12GB + 512GB model. Pricing for other European regions, including the UK, is expected to be announced soon.
The smartphone will go on sale in China starting April 24 and is confirmed to launch in India in May. It is offered in Polar Glaciers, Rongsha Canyon, and Tundra colour options.
The OPPO Find X9 Ultra runs on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, paired with an Adreno 840 GPU. It offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
The handset features a 6.82-inch QHD+ (1,440 x 3,168 pixels) flexible AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colour depth, and peak brightness of up to 1,800 nits.
It is backed by a 7,050mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, NFC, and multiple navigation systems such as GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo, and QZSS. The device also features a USB Type-C port. Select variants support Tiantong satellite communication and Beidou satellite messaging.
For security, the phone includes a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. The device measures 163.16 x 76.97 x 8.65mm and weighs approximately 235g.
The OPPO Find X9 Ultra is equipped with a Hasselblad-tuned quad rear camera setup designed for advanced photography and videography.
The camera system includes a 200-megapixel primary sensor with a 1/1.12-inch size and f/1.5 aperture, paired with a 200-megapixel 3x telephoto lens aimed at portrait photography. It also features a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom (230mm focal length) and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 14mm focal length.
For selfies and video calls, the handset sports a 50-megapixel front-facing camera with autofocus support.
The device supports 8K video recording at 30fps and 4K video at up to 120fps, along with Dolby Vision. Additional imaging features include a True Color Camera with 24 spectral channels, up to 15EV dynamic range, and a full-focal portrait flash system powered by the LUMO algorithm. Hasselblad tuning, XPAN mode, and professional video tools are also included.
