
OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra
The OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra has been launched in China as the latest addition to the company’s performance-centric smartphone lineup. The device arrives alongside the Ace 6 and Ace 6T, bringing top-tier hardware aimed at gamers and power users. It features a high refresh rate AMOLED display, a flagship-grade MediaTek chipset, and a significantly large battery capacity. The smartphone runs on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 and also debuts alongside a dedicated gaming controller accessory.
The OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra is offered in multiple RAM and storage variants in China. The base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at CNY 3,499 (approximately Rs 48,400). The 12GB + 512GB variant is listed at CNY 3,799 (around Rs 52,500).
Meanwhile, the 16GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB configurations are priced at CNY 4,099 (roughly Rs 56,700) and CNY 4,399 (about Rs 60,800), respectively. The top-end variant with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage costs CNY 5,099 (approximately Rs 70,500).
The handset is available in Ace Awakening and Metal Storm colour options and is currently on sale in China.
The smartphone sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,272 × 2,772 pixels. It supports a 165Hz refresh rate, making it suitable for smooth scrolling and gaming. The display also offers up to 1,800 nits peak brightness, a 480Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 450ppi pixel density, along with a 93.6 percent screen-to-body ratio.
Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset with a peak clock speed of up to 4.21GHz. It is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, positioning it as a high-performance offering in its segment.
For optics, the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra features a dual rear camera setup headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, autofocus, and optical image stabilisation (OIS). It is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with a 112-degree field of view. The rear camera supports up to 20x digital zoom and 4K video recording at 60fps. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The handset also comes with an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and face unlock support.
A major highlight of the device is its 8,600mAh battery, which supports 120W wired fast charging. The phone measures 162.45 × 77.47 × 8.45mm and weighs around 217 grams.
Alongside the smartphone, OnePlus has introduced the ‘Gun God’ Gaming Controller, priced at CNY 449 (roughly Rs 6,200). The accessory is designed to improve gaming comfort and control, featuring an ergonomic grip that allows the phone to be used in a horizontal orientation.
It comes equipped with dual trigger-style buttons that use micro-switch mechanisms, offering a response time of 1.8ms and a 1000Hz polling rate. These triggers are positioned to replicate traditional gamepad controls for a more immersive experience.
The controller also includes an “esports-grade antenna” aimed at enhancing signal reception and reducing latency during online gameplay. Additionally, it features a detachable cooling module with an internal fan to help manage heat during extended gaming sessions.
