Vivo T5 Pro 5G was launched in India on Wednesday as the latest addition to the company’s T-series smartphone lineup. The handset arrives as the successor to last year’s Vivo T4 Pro and is aimed at the mid-range segment. It comes with a large battery, a Snapdragon chipset, and an AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz.

The Vivo T5 Pro 5G price in India starts at Rs. 29,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option is priced at Rs. 33,999, while the top-end 12GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration is listed at Rs. 39,999.

The handset is offered in Cosmic Black and Glacier Blue colour options. It will go on sale in the country starting April 21 via Flipkart.

The Vivo T5 Pro 5G sports a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel is claimed to offer up to 5,000 nits of peak brightness and carries SGS certifications for low blue light emission and flicker-free viewing.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. Vivo says the processor can achieve an AnTuTu score of around 1.2 million and is capable of supporting gaming at up to 120fps. For thermal management, the phone is equipped with a 7,000mm vapour chamber cooling system.

For optics, the Vivo T5 Pro 5G gets a dual rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel Sony primary sensor alongside a 2-megapixel secondary shooter. On the front, it features a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Both the rear and front camera systems support 4K video recording.

The handset packs a 9,020mAh battery, which Vivo claims is the biggest battery offered on one of its smartphones so far. According to the company, the battery is claimed to deliver up to 37 hours of video playback, 90 hours of music playback, over 12 hours of gaming, more than 13 hours of live streaming, and over 12 hours of video recording.

The Vivo T5 Pro 5G supports 90W wired fast charging and is claimed to charge from 1 percent to 50 percent in 37 minutes. It also supports bypass charging as well as reverse wired charging.

On the software front, the smartphone runs on OriginOS. It also comes with military-grade durability certification and has IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
