OnePlus has confirmed key battery-related details of the upcoming OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra ahead of its scheduled launch in China on April 28. The smartphone will run on ColorOS 16, based on Android 16, and is being positioned with a focus on gaming and sustained performance.

OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra Battery and Charging Details

The company has confirmed that the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra will be equipped with an 8,600mAh battery. It will support 120W wired fast charging. According to the claims shared by OnePlus, the handset can deliver up to seven hours of gameplay on a single charge. The company also states that a 10-minute charge can offer up to two hours of gameplay.

In addition to the battery capacity, OnePlus has revealed that the device will include a “Glacier Battery Energy Concentration” chip developed by Oppo. This chip is said to improve battery efficiency under different conditions. As per the company, it can provide up to 200mAh additional effective capacity in standard temperature conditions and up to 700mAh in extreme cold environments, compared to devices without this chip.

The company further claims that this chip is designed to support battery longevity and maintain stable performance even when the battery level is low.

Other Confirmed Features

Alongside the battery details, the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra is confirmed to feature a 1.5K BOE display with a 165Hz refresh rate and support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+. The device will also include a Lingxi Touch chip with up to 4000Hz instant touch sampling rate and a G2 Pro Wi-Fi chip.

The handset will be offered in Ace Awakening and Metal Storm colour options. It is also confirmed to come with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance, along with an in-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and dual speakers.

The OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra is scheduled to launch in China on April 28 at 7 PM local time (4:30 PM IST). Further details are expected to be announced at the launch event.
