Moto G87 Price, Colour Options Surface Online Ahead of Launch; May Come With 8GB RAM, 256GB Storage

Motorola appears to be gearing up to expand its G-series lineup with the Moto G87. While the company has not officially confirmed the handset, recent appearances on the brand’s support page and a retailer listing have revealed key details, including its design, possible specifications, pricing, and colour options. The Moto G87 is expected to arrive as a successor to the Moto G67 and Moto G77.

Moto G87 Price, Colour Options (Leaked)

The Moto G87 has been listed on an Italian retailer website, hinting at its expected price and configurations. The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is said to be priced at EUR 407 (roughly Rs. 44,800). The listing shows the handset in Pantone Overture Gray and Pantone Blue Atoll colour options.

In addition to these, another leak, reportedly based on firmware details, suggests more Pantone-certified colour variants. These may include Arctic Seal, Black Olive, Nile, and Shaded Spruce, taking the total number of colour options to six.

Moto G87 Specifications (Expected)

The Moto G87 has also surfaced on Motorola’s official support page under the “Learn about the Moto G87” section. The listing provides a glimpse at the phone’s hardware design and features.

The schematics indicate a familiar Motorola design language with a triple rear camera setup. On the front, the handset is shown with a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera. The support page also hints at the presence of multiple sensors, including NFC, light, proximity, and ambient light sensors.

The listing further suggests that the Moto G87 will support expandable storage of up to 2TB via a hybrid SIM slot, alongside a microSD card.

Firmware leaks indicate that the phone could be powered by a MediaTek chipset from the Dimensity 6000 series. The internal codename “Naples” and model reference MT6835 point towards possible options such as the Dimensity 6100+, Dimensity 6300, or Dimensity 6400 processors.

For context, the Moto G67 is powered by the Dimensity 6300 SoC, while the Moto G77 runs on the Dimensity 6400 chipset. Both smartphones were launched earlier this year in select markets.

They feature 6.78-inch AMOLED displays with 120Hz refresh rates, run on Android 16, and come with IP64 ratings along with MIL-STD-810H certification. The devices pack 5,200mAh batteries with support for 30W wired fast charging.

The Moto G87 is expected to build upon these features with upgraded hardware and expanded configuration options.
