The phenomenal box office journey of Dhurandhar continues even after more than three months in theatres. Starring Ranveer Singh in the lead role, the film remains one of the biggest Bollywood blockbusters in recent years.
During its 15th weekend, the film added around ₹1 crore to its tally, pushing its total collection to ₹788.90 crore net at the Indian box office. With this performance, the movie is now just a step away from crossing the ₹790 crore milestone.
Screen Expansion Ahead of Dhurandhar 2 Release
Interestingly, the film has seen a fresh surge in screens ahead of the release of its sequel Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Instead of ending its theatrical run, the film’s screenings were expanded.
During its 14th week, Dhurandhar was running on approximately 200 screens. Recently, the number of screens has increased significantly to around 800 screens, helping the film maintain its box office momentum.
15th Weekend Collection Breakdown
After completing 14 weeks with ₹787.95 crore, the film continued to attract audiences in its 15th weekend.
On Day 99, the film earned around ₹20 lakh, followed by ₹35 lakh on Day 100 and ₹40 lakh on Day 101.
This brought the total 15th weekend collection close to ₹1 crore, pushing the overall domestic total to ₹788.90 crore net after 101 days in theatres.
Targeting a Historic ₹790 Crore Finish
Based on the current trend, Dhurandhar is expected to end its theatrical run with more than ₹790 crore net at the Indian box office. If achieved, it will become the highest box office total ever for a Hindi/Bollywood film in India.
The upcoming sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, is now expected to aim even higher and potentially set a new benchmark for future Bollywood releases.
