The Redmi A7 4G series has officially gone on sale in India shortly after its debut earlier this week. The lineup includes two models — the Redmi A7 4G and the Redmi A7 Pro 4G — both targeting the budget segment with features like a 120Hz HD+ display, Unisoc T7250 processor, and expandable storage support. While the core specifications remain similar, the Pro variant brings a few notable upgrades in terms of battery, software, and display brightness.
Redmi A7 4G, Redmi A7 Pro 4G price in India, availability
The Redmi A7 4G is priced at Rs. 10,999 for the 3GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The Redmi A7 Pro 4G, on the other hand, comes at Rs. 11,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model. However, on the Xiaomi India website, the devices are currently listed at slightly lower prices of Rs. 10,499 and Rs. 11,499, respectively.
Both smartphones are available for purchase through Amazon, Flipkart, the official Xiaomi India website, as well as offline retail stores across the country.
In terms of colours, the Redmi A7 4G is offered in Black and Blue shades, while the Redmi A7 Pro 4G comes in Black and Orange options.

The Redmi A7 Pro 4G features a larger 6.9-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, offering a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 800 nits of peak brightness. The standard Redmi A7 4G gets a slightly smaller 6.88-inch HD+ display with the same 120Hz refresh rate but lower peak brightness of up to 600 nits. Both displays support wet touch technology and come with TÜV-certified eye protection.
Under the hood, both smartphones are powered by the Unisoc T7250 chipset paired with LPDDR4X RAM. The Pro model offers 4GB RAM, while the standard variant comes with 3GB RAM. Both devices support virtual RAM expansion and include 64GB of onboard storage, which can be expanded up to 2TB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
On the software front, the Redmi A7 Pro 4G runs Android 16-based HyperOS 3 out of the box and is promised four years of Android updates along with six years of security patches. Meanwhile, the Redmi A7 4G ships with Android 15-based HyperOS 2 and will receive two years of Android updates and four years of security updates.
For optics, both models feature a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. Audio is handled by a mono speaker with boosted output, and both devices include a single microphone setup.
Connectivity options on the Redmi A7 4G series include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, FM radio, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphones also come equipped with a fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, and electronic compass.
The Redmi A7 Pro 4G is backed by a 6,300mAh battery, while the Redmi A7 4G houses a 5,200mAh battery. Both devices support 15W wired charging as well as 7.5W wired reverse charging. Additionally, they carry an IP52 rating for dust and splash resistance.
In terms of dimensions, the Redmi A7 Pro measures 171.56 x 79.47 x 8.15mm and weighs 208 grams. The standard Redmi A7 is slightly thicker at 8.26mm and lighter at 193 grams, with overall dimensions of 171.79 x 79.77 x 8.26mm.
