Vivo X300 FE
Vivo appears to be accelerating its premium smartphone roadmap for the Indian market. Following its successful debut in international territories earlier this year, the much-anticipated Vivo X300 FE is reportedly making its way to India soon. While the Chinese smartphone giant has maintained a formal silence regarding the launch, a series of comprehensive leaks have surfaced, detailing the launch window, specifications, and a country-specific aesthetic twist.
According to prominent tipster Yogesh Brar, in collaboration with Smartprix, the Vivo X300 FE is slated for an Indian debut in the first week of May. While the global release saw the device in Cool Purple, Graphite Black, and Moonlight White, the Indian market is rumored to receive a specialized palette.
The leak suggests that Indian consumers will be able to choose from Black, Purple, and a new, India-exclusive Green colorway. Leaked renders of this purported green variant suggest a premium finish, aimed at catering to the evolving design preferences of the Indian flagship audience.
If the Indian variant mirrors its global counterpart, the X300 FE will be a performance juggernaut. It is expected to be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, making it one of the most capable devices in its segment.
To support the heavy-lifting processor, the device is tipped to feature:
The Vivo X300 FE is designed for users who prefer a balance between screen real estate and ergonomics. It boasts a 6.31-inch LTPO AMOLED display, offering a buttery-smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Beyond the visuals, the phone is built to endure harsh environments, carrying dual IP68 and IP69 ratings. This ensures high-level protection against both immersion in water and high-pressure water jets or dust.
True to the X-series legacy, the camera system remains a focal point. The device features a Zeiss-branded triple rear camera setup, headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor. This is complemented by a 50-megapixel telephoto lens and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter. Selfies are handled by a high-resolution 50-megapixel front camera.
One of the most striking features is the massive 6,500mAh battery, a significant capacity for its form factor. To keep downtime to a minimum, it supports 90W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging.
While official pricing will only be revealed at launch, the Vivo X300 FE debuted in Russia at approximately RUB 60,299 (roughly Rs. 71,000). Industry insiders expect the Indian pricing to align closely with this bracket, positioning it as a formidable competitor in the premium “Fan Edition” or “Flagship Entry” segment.
As the first week of May approaches, more official teasers from Vivo India are expected to hit social media platforms soon.
