Vivo is all set to launch its new mid-range contender, the Vivo T5 Pro 5G, in India on April 15. Ahead of the official debut, the company has revealed several key specifications, highlighting the phone’s focus on display quality, battery performance, and durability.

The Vivo T5 Pro 5G will feature a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, offering a smooth and immersive viewing experience. The panel is rated to deliver up to 5,000 nits of peak brightness, making it suitable for outdoor usage. It will also come with SGS low blue light and flicker-free certifications, aimed at reducing eye strain during prolonged usage.

Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, promising reliable performance for everyday tasks as well as gaming. One of its biggest highlights is the massive 9,020mAh battery, which uses fourth-generation silicon anode technology. Vivo claims the battery can maintain its health for up to five years and deliver extended usage, including up to 37 hours of video playback, 90 hours of music, and over 12 hours of gaming on a single charge.

The device will support 90W wired fast charging, capable of charging the battery from 1 percent to 50 percent in just 37 minutes. Additional features like bypass charging and reverse wired charging further enhance its usability.

For photography, the Vivo T5 Pro 5G will come with a dual rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel Sony primary sensor, accompanied by a 2-megapixel bokeh lens. On the front, it will house a 32-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. Both front and rear cameras will support 4K video recording.

In terms of durability, the smartphone will feature IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, along with military-grade certification, ensuring it can withstand tough conditions.

The Vivo T5 Pro 5G will be available for purchase via Flipkart following its launch and will come in Cosmic Black and Glacier Blue colour options. With a combination of a high-refresh-rate display, large battery, and rugged build, the device is shaping up to be a strong all-rounder in its segment.
