Samsung May Launch Galaxy A37 5G and Galaxy A57 5G in India This March With 120Hz AMOLED Displays

Samsung is reportedly preparing to expand its Galaxy A-series lineup in India with the launch of two new 5G smartphones. The upcoming devices are expected to arrive as the Samsung Galaxy A37 5G and Samsung Galaxy A57 5G. According to recent leaks and certification listings, both smartphones could make their debut in March. An appearance on the IMDA certification website has further hinted that the launch timeline may not be far away.

Details about the devices were shared by tipster Sanju Choudhary on social media platform X. As per the leak, both the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 may feature Full HD+ AMOLED displays with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. The Galaxy A57 is expected to come with a 6.6-inch screen, while the Galaxy A37 could offer a slightly larger 6.7-inch panel. The high refresh rate is likely to provide smoother scrolling and an improved viewing experience.

In terms of performance, the Galaxy A57 is rumored to be powered by the Exynos 1680 chipset. It may feature a triple rear camera setup including a 50MP primary sensor with OIS support, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP macro camera. On the other hand, the Galaxy A37 is said to come with the Exynos 1480 processor. Its camera setup could include a 50MP primary sensor with a 1/1.56-inch sensor size, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP macro sensor. The Galaxy A37 is also expected to carry an IP67 rating for basic water and dust resistance.

Both smartphones may offer a 12MP front camera for selfies and video calls. For battery backup, a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support is expected on both models, which could make them competitive options in the mid-range segment.

Reports also suggest that the Galaxy A57 may feature an IP68 rating, offering better protection against water and dust. It is rumored to have a slim profile of around 6.9mm thickness and weigh approximately 182 grams, giving it a sleek and premium feel.

The Samsung Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 have reportedly been listed on Singapore’s IMDA website. The Galaxy A37 was spotted with the model number A376B/DS, while the Galaxy A57 appeared with the model number SM-A576B/DS. The “DS” tag indicates dual-SIM support. The listing also confirms support for 5G, Bluetooth, NFC, and Wi-Fi connectivity.

If these leaks turn out to be accurate, the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 could emerge as strong contenders in the mid-range 5G smartphone market. With features like 120Hz AMOLED displays, Exynos processors, and 50MP camera systems, both devices may attract buyers looking for a new Samsung smartphone in the coming months. An official announcement from the company is now awaited.
