
Samsung Galaxy A57 5G & Galaxy A37 5G
Samsung has officially introduced its latest A-series smartphones — Samsung Galaxy A57 5G and Samsung Galaxy A37 5G — bringing premium features like high refresh rate displays, powerful batteries, and long-term software support to the mid-range segment. Both devices come with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, triple rear cameras, and promise up to six years of updates, making them strong contenders in their category.
The Samsung Galaxy A57 5G is priced at Rs. 56,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, while the 12GB RAM + 256GB model costs Rs. 62,499. It is available in Awesome Navy, Awesome Icyblue, and Awesome Lilac colour options.
On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy A37 5G starts at Rs. 41,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 8GB + 256GB model is priced at Rs. 47,499, while the top-end 12GB + 256GB version costs Rs. 52,999. It comes in Awesome Lavender, Awesome Charcoal, and Awesome Graygreen shades.
Both smartphones are currently available for pre-order via Amazon, with deliveries beginning from April 2.
Both the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED+ display with up to 120Hz refresh rate. The screens also support Samsung’s Vision Booster technology for improved outdoor visibility.
The devices run on One UI 8.5 based on Android 16. Samsung has promised six generations of Android and One UI upgrades, along with up to six years of security updates, making these phones future-ready.
While Samsung has not officially confirmed the chipsets, leaks suggest that the Galaxy A57 5G could be powered by the Exynos 1680 processor, whereas the Galaxy A37 5G may run on the Exynos 1480 chipset.
Both models offer up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage, ensuring smooth multitasking and sufficient space for apps, photos, and videos.
The smartphones come equipped with triple rear camera setups led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture.
The Galaxy A57 5G includes a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 5-megapixel macro camera. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A37 5G features an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor along with a 5-megapixel macro lens.
For selfies and video calls, both devices offer a 12-megapixel front camera. They also support AI-powered features such as object eraser, best face, filters, edit suggestions, voice transcription, AI Select, and Circle to Search with Google, along with an Auto Trim tool for video editing.
Samsung has packed a 5,000mAh battery in both smartphones, which is claimed to deliver up to two days of usage on a single charge. The devices support Super Fast Charging 2.0, allowing the battery to reach up to 60 percent in around 30 minutes.
In terms of design, the Galaxy A57 5G measures 161.5 x 76.8 x 6.9mm and weighs 179g, while the Galaxy A37 5G measures 162.9 x 78.2 x 7.4mm and weighs 196g.
Both devices come with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and feature Samsung Knox Vault for enhanced security.
