Samsung Expands Browser to Windows With Agentic AI and Cross-Device Continuity

Samsung Electronics has officially taken a major step in expanding its digital ecosystem by launching Samsung Browser for Windows. Announced on March 26, 2026, the move brings its widely used mobile browser to PCs while introducing advanced agentic AI capabilities designed to simplify and enhance the browsing experience.

Seamless Browsing From Mobile to PC

Samsung Browser for Windows is built to deliver true cross-device continuity, allowing users to move effortlessly between mobile devices and PCs. The browser ensures that users can continue browsing exactly where they left off, including active webpages, bookmarks, and browsing history.

This seamless transition creates a unified browsing experience, eliminating interruptions when switching devices. The integration with Samsung Pass further enhances usability by securely storing login credentials and enabling autofill for personal information across platforms.

Agentic AI Brings Smarter Web Interaction

A major highlight of the new browser is its built-in agentic AI assistant, developed in partnership with Perplexity AI. This AI system is designed to understand natural language queries and analyze the context of webpages as well as user activity across multiple tabs.

Unlike traditional browsing tools, the AI goes beyond answering queries by helping users manage tabs, navigate browsing history, and complete tasks without leaving the browser environment.

Intelligent Content Understanding and Productivity

Samsung Browser introduces a new level of contextual intelligence. It can analyze the content of a webpage and generate structured outputs tailored to user needs. For example, while planning a trip, users can ask the browser to create a detailed travel itinerary based on the content they are viewing.

The browser also enhances search efficiency by delivering precise results instantly, reducing the need to manually explore multiple webpages.

Advanced Features Like Video Search and Multi-Tab Analysis

The AI-powered browser extends its intelligence to multimedia and multitasking. It can identify specific moments within videos and jump directly to the relevant section, saving time and effort.

Additionally, the Multi-tab Context Awareness feature allows users to compare and summarize information across multiple tabs simultaneously. This enables users to view key insights from different sources in a single, organized interface.

Another notable capability is natural language-based browsing history search, allowing users to find previously visited pages without relying on exact keywords or dates.

Availability and Future Expansion

Samsung Browser for Windows is available on systems running Windows 11 and Windows 10 version 1809 and above.

Currently, the agentic AI features are supported in South Korea and the United States, with plans to expand to additional markets in the near future.

Strengthening Samsung’s Ecosystem

With this launch, Samsung is reinforcing its vision of a connected ecosystem where devices work seamlessly together. By combining cross-device continuity with powerful AI-driven tools, the company is positioning its browser as a smarter and more integrated solution for modern users.

As AI continues to redefine web browsing, Samsung Browser for Windows represents a significant leap toward more intuitive, efficient, and connected digital experiences.
