Realme P4 Lite 5G
Realme has officially confirmed that the Realme P4 Lite 5G will launch in India on March 19 at 12 PM IST. The smartphone will expand the company’s P-series lineup and will arrive as the 5G version of the Realme P4 Lite 4G, which was introduced in India earlier this year.
The upcoming device is expected to target the budget smartphone segment with a focus on long battery life, a smooth display experience, and improved durability. Realme has already revealed several key specifications ahead of the launch event.
The Realme P4 Lite 5G will be available for purchase through Flipkart, the Realme India online store, and offline retail outlets after its launch.
Realme has also teased the design of the upcoming smartphone. The Realme P4 Lite 5G will feature the company’s new “ColorPop” design, which includes a dual-tone rear panel with rectangular patterns in contrasting shades.
The phone will be available in two colour options:
Mosaic Blue
Mosaic Green
On the back, the device will feature a dual Matrix AI camera module with individually placed lenses. The setup includes a 13-megapixel main camera, while an additional cutout on the rear is expected to house a light sensor.
The smartphone will have a slim 8.4mm profile, making it relatively sleek despite packing a large battery.
One of the biggest highlights of the Realme P4 Lite 5G is its 7,000mAh battery. According to the company, the phone can deliver up to 1.47 days of usage on a single charge under typical conditions.
Large battery capacity has become a key feature for budget phones, especially for users who rely heavily on streaming, gaming, and social media. However, the real-world battery performance will be clearer after the device is reviewed.
The smartphone will feature a 144Hz refresh rate display, which is still rare in the budget smartphone category. A higher refresh rate helps deliver smoother animations and better gaming performance.
The display will also support up to 900 nits peak brightness, which should provide decent visibility outdoors.
While the 144Hz refresh rate is likely to be activated mainly during gaming or certain apps, it still makes the device stand out in its price segment.
Powering the smartphone will be the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G processor, built on a 6nm architecture. The chipset is widely used in affordable 5G smartphones and is capable of handling everyday tasks such as browsing, social media, and casual gaming.
To manage heat during gaming or heavy usage, Realme is equipping the device with a 5,300mm² Airflow Vapour Chamber cooling system, which helps improve thermal efficiency and maintain stable performance.
Realme is also focusing on durability with the Realme P4 Lite 5G. The device is confirmed to feature:
IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance
MIL-STD-810H military-grade shock resistance
ArmorShell protection for improved structural strength
These features suggest the phone is designed to withstand everyday wear and tear better than many budget smartphones.
The smartphone will run on Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0 out of the box. Realme is also promising a four-year “Zero Lag” experience, indicating long-term performance optimization.
Other confirmed specifications include:
6GB RAM
128GB internal storage
AI Boost performance optimisation
Realme has not yet revealed the official price of the Realme P4 Lite 5G. However, it is expected to be priced slightly higher than the Realme P4 Lite 4G, which starts at Rs 9,999 in India.
If priced competitively, the smartphone could become an attractive option for users upgrading from a 4G phone or looking for a budget 5G device with a large battery and smooth display.
