
Oppo Find X9 Ultra Launch on April 20
Oppo is preparing to unveil its next flagship smartphone, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra, in China and global markets. According to recent leaks, the device is expected to launch on April 20, marking a major step as the brand’s first “Ultra” model to debut outside China. While India is also expected to get the device, its launch may happen at a later stage.
The Oppo Find X9 Ultra is tipped to launch simultaneously in China and select global markets on April 20. This timeline aligns with earlier hints shared by Oppo’s Chief Product Officer Pete Lau, who confirmed a global debut in April.
The smartphone is expected to go on sale in early May. Although India is on the roadmap, the exact launch date for the Indian market has not yet been officially confirmed.
The Oppo Find X9 Ultra is expected to feature a large 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,440 x 3,120 pixels.
It may support a 144Hz refresh rate and offer up to 3,600 nits peak brightness, ensuring excellent clarity and smooth performance. The display is also said to be protected by Oppo’s NanoCrystal Glass.

Under the hood, the smartphone is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
This flagship processor is expected to be paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, delivering top-tier performance for gaming, multitasking, and heavy applications.

The Oppo Find X9 Ultra is rumored to feature an advanced quad-camera setup on the rear.
This may include a 200MP primary sensor, a 200MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide shooter.
For selfies and video calls, the smartphone is expected to include a 50MP front-facing camera.
The device is expected to pack a large 7,050mAh battery, making it one of the biggest batteries in the flagship segment.
It is also rumored to support 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging, ensuring quick and convenient power-ups.
The Oppo Find X9 Ultra is said to come with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, offering strong resistance against dust and water.
In terms of design, the smartphone may have a thickness between 8.65mm and 9.1mm and weigh around 235g to 236g, indicating a premium and solid build quality.
