
Oppo F33 Pro 5G Launched in India
Oppo F33 Pro 5G was launched in India on Wednesday as part of the company’s expanding F-series lineup. The handset debuted alongside the Oppo F33 5G and is positioned in the mid-range segment. It features a large battery, a MediaTek Dimensity chipset, and a dual rear camera system led by a 50-megapixel sensor.
The Oppo F33 Pro 5G price in India starts at Rs. 37,999 for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The higher-end 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model is priced at Rs. 40,999. The company is also offering up to 10 percent instant cashback on select bank cards, along with no-cost EMI options for up to six months.
The smartphone will go on sale in India starting April 23 via Flipkart, Amazon, and the Oppo India online store. It is available in Misty Forest, Passion Red, and Starry Blue colour options.
The dual-SIM (Nano + Nano) Oppo F33 Pro 5G runs on Android 16 with ColorOS 16 on top. It sports a 6.57-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,372 pixels) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,400 nits peak brightness, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display supports 1.07 billion colours, covers 100 percent of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, and is protected by AGC DT-STAR D+ glass. The handset also comes with IP66, IP68, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max chipset, built on a 6nm process, paired with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It packs 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage. For heat management, the phone is equipped with a SuperCool vapour chamber cooling system with a 4,289 sq mm heat dissipation area.
For optics, the Oppo F33 Pro 5G features a dual rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel OV50D40 primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and autofocus support, accompanied by a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. On the front, the handset houses a 50-megapixel selfie camera with autofocus and an f/2.0 aperture. The device supports video recording at up to 1080p at 60fps.
The Oppo F33 Pro 5G packs a 7,000mAh battery with support for 80W SuperVOOC wired fast charging. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C, and support for navigation systems such as BeiDou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS.
Sensors onboard include a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, colour temperature sensor, e-compass, accelerometer, gyroscope, and an in-display optical fingerprint sensor. The handset measures 158.4×75.2×8.3mm and weighs approximately 194g.
