OnePlus Pad 4
OnePlus has confirmed the India launch date of its upcoming tablet, the OnePlus Pad 4. The device is set to debut on April 30, and the company has already teased its design ahead of the official unveiling. The teaser hints at a familiar design language, suggesting a possible connection with an upcoming Oppo tablet.
The teaser image indicates that the OnePlus Pad 4 could be a rebranded version of the Oppo Pad 5 Pro, which is scheduled to launch in China on April 21. The camera module design and the placement of the three-pin connector closely resemble Oppo’s tablet. Additionally, the colour option teased appears similar to Oppo’s Mocha Brown variant, which will also be available alongside Dawn Gold and Monet Purple finishes.
The OnePlus Pad 4 is confirmed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, positioning it as a flagship Android tablet. OnePlus claims the device has achieved an AnTuTu score of over 4.1 million, indicating top-tier performance. It will be offered with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of onboard storage.
The tablet will pack a 13,380mAh battery with support for 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging. With such a large battery capacity, the OnePlus Pad 4 is expected to deliver more than a full day of usage on a single charge.
On the front, the tablet features a 13.2-inch 3.4K display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The large, high-resolution screen is aimed at enhancing media consumption, productivity tasks, and gaming experiences. The device will also support the new OnePlus Stylo Pro, designed for improved precision in writing and drawing, along with a compatible smart keyboard accessory.
Based on the confirmed specifications and design similarities, the OnePlus Pad 4 appears to be a rebranded version of the Oppo Pad 5 Pro. This approach aligns with the brand’s strategy of offering similar hardware across different markets under separate branding.
Compared to its predecessor, the OnePlus Pad 4 brings notable upgrades, including a more powerful chipset and a larger battery. However, it is still expected to feature an LCD panel, which may place it slightly behind premium tablets such as Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S11 series in terms of display technology.
That said, OnePlus is likely to continue its strategy of pricing the tablet competitively, offering flagship-grade performance and features at a relatively lower cost. This could make the OnePlus Pad 4 a compelling option for users seeking a high-performance Android tablet without paying a premium price.
As always, final details regarding pricing and full specifications are expected to be revealed at launch later this month.
