Motorola Edge 70 Fusion
Motorola has officially confirmed that the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion will be launching in India on March 6, 2026, marking the arrival of the latest mid-range handset in the company’s Edge series. The announcement comes ahead of its global unveiling at MWC 2026, and the phone is expected to go on sale through Flipkart, Motorola India’s official website, and offline retail outlets.
According to the official announcement by Motorola, the Edge 70 Fusion is scheduled to be launched on March 6 in India. The company has teased the launch via social media channels and confirmed the date in promotional posts, though full pricing details are yet to be disclosed. Motorola has also listed the handset on its Flipkart microsite ahead of the debut.
The Edge 70 Fusion will sport a quad-curved 1.5K display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 5200 nits, making it one of the brightest screens in its class. This premium panel aims to deliver smooth visuals and enhanced clarity for both everyday use and gaming.
The phone will be offered in three Pantone-curated colour options — Silhouette, Blue Surf, and Country Air — all featuring a textured, premium finish.
Photography is a key highlight of the device. Motorola claims the Edge 70 Fusion will be the world’s first smartphone equipped with a 50 MP Sony LYT-710 primary camera sensor, backed by Moto AI enhancements for sharper images and improved low-light performance. The triple rear camera setup also includes a 13 MP ultrawide unit and a dedicated macro/depth lens, while the front hosts a 32 MP selfie camera with 4K video recording support.
Under the hood, the Edge 70 Fusion is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and ample internal storage options. This hardware combination promises smooth multitasking and efficient performance across daily tasks and mobile gaming.
One of the standout specifications is the huge 7000 mAh silicon-carbon battery, which Motorola says will offer extended battery life. The handset supports 68W TurboPower wired fast charging, helping users recharge quickly despite the large battery capacity.
The device runs on Android 16 with Motorola’s Hello UI on top, bringing the latest Android features with custom enhancements. Other notable features include environmental durability, stereo speakers, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
