Dhurandhar 2 Day 1 Advance Booking: Ranveer Singh’s Film Sells 1.5 Lakh+ Tickets Across 11,000 Shows Ahead of Release

The upcoming action entertainer Dhurandhar: The Revenge is already living up to the enormous hype ahead of its theatrical release on March 19. Led by Ranveer Singh, the film has begun its Day 1 advance booking on a strong note, with ticket sales rising rapidly across India.

Within a short time of opening its bookings, the film has already sold more than 1.5 lakh tickets, indicating a powerful start at the Indian box office.

Over 11,000 Shows Allotted Across India

Due to massive anticipation and minimal competition at the box office, the film is expected to secure one of the widest releases for a Hindi film in India.

Currently, around 11,200 shows have been allotted nationwide, and this number is expected to increase significantly as the release date approaches. Out of these, approximately 10,700 shows are dedicated to the Hindi version, while the remaining shows are distributed across Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada versions.

Trade estimates suggest that the final show count could cross 18,000, making it one of the largest theatrical releases of the year.

Strong Advance Sales For Opening Day

Since the opening of Day 1 bookings, the response has been extremely encouraging. As of the latest updates, the film has sold over 1.58 lakh tickets for its opening day, excluding paid previews.

In terms of revenue, the film has already generated around ₹8 crore in advance booking gross, excluding blocked seats. Such numbers indicate that the film is heading toward a very strong opening day performance.

Industry trackers believe that if the current pace continues, the film’s total pre-sales could cross ₹35 crore before release.

Maharashtra, Delhi, and Telangana Lead Bookings

Among all states, Maharashtra is currently leading the advance booking charts with the highest contribution to ticket sales. Delhi follows closely behind, while Telangana has also recorded solid early bookings.

Major metropolitan regions such as Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, and Hyderabad are playing a key role in driving the film’s early box office momentum.

Star-Studded Cast Adds to the Buzz

Apart from Ranveer Singh, the film also features a powerful ensemble cast including Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and R. Madhavan in key roles.

The film is directed by Aditya Dhar, known for delivering large-scale cinematic experiences.

Aiming for the Biggest Pre-Sales of 2026

Currently, the record for the highest Day 1 advance booking of 2026 is held by The Raja Saab, which recorded advance sales worth ₹15.31 crore.

However, trade analysts believe that Dhurandhar 2 could surpass this benchmark very soon, given the current pace of ticket sales.

Among Hindi films released in 2026, Border 2 is currently leading the charts with around ₹12.5 crore in advance booking gross. If the momentum continues, Dhurandhar: The Revenge could easily overtake that record and register the biggest pre-sales for a Hindi film this year.

Strong Opening Expected

With massive ticket demand, a wide theatrical release, and strong buzz among audiences, Dhurandhar: The Revenge appears to be heading toward a huge box office opening. The final advance booking numbers in the next few days will determine whether the film can create new records before its release.
