Dhurandhar 2 Box Office Collection Day 5: Crosses ₹500 Crore, Beats Tiger 3 and Animal in Monday Test

Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge continues its unstoppable run at the box office, dominating both weekdays and weekends with record-breaking numbers. After a historic opening during the festive period, the film has now passed the crucial Monday test with flying colors. In just five days, the Ranveer Singh starrer has crossed the ₹500 crore mark, setting new benchmarks and outperforming several Bollywood blockbusters.

Dhurandhar 2 Day 5 Box Office Collection

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar 2 benefited immensely from its festive release window during Eid, Ugadi, and Gudi Padwa. The film had already indicated its massive potential by earning ₹43 crore in paid previews alone.

On its opening day, March 19, the film registered a phenomenal ₹102.55 crore collection. While Friday saw a slight dip with ₹80.72 crore, the film bounced back strongly over the weekend. Saturday brought in ₹113 crore, followed by an even bigger Sunday with ₹114.85 crore, cementing its blockbuster status.

According to early estimates, the film collected around ₹65 crore on Day 5 (Monday) with an occupancy rate of 43.1%. The Hindi version contributed the majority with ₹60 crore, while other language collections remained modest—Kannada ₹0.15 crore, Malayalam ₹0.15 crore, Tamil ₹1.20 crore, and Telugu ₹3.50 crore.

With this, the total five-day collection of Dhurandhar 2 now stands at an impressive ₹519.12 crore.

Becomes Highest First Monday Grosser

Dhurandhar 2 has not only passed the Monday test but has rewritten history by becoming the highest first Monday grosser in Indian cinema. The film earned ₹65 crore on its first Monday, surpassing several major blockbusters.

It outperformed Salman Khan’s Tiger 3, which had collected ₹59.25 crore on its first Monday, and Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, which earned ₹44.47 crore. The film also left behind Baahubali 2 (Hindi), Gadar 2, and Tiger Zinda Hai in this category.
