Dhurandhar 2 Advance Booking Crosses ₹100 Crore Worldwide, Ranveer Singh’s Spy Thriller Sets New Pre-Sales Records

The much-awaited Bollywood action film Dhurandhar: The Revenge is creating history at the box office even before its theatrical release. With three days still remaining before the first show on March 19, the film has already crossed ₹100 crore in worldwide advance booking, making it one of the few Indian films to achieve this milestone before release.

The film stars Ranveer Singh in the lead role and is directed by Aditya Dhar. The spy action thriller has generated massive excitement among audiences both in India and overseas.

Strong Advance Sales In India

In the domestic market, Dhurandhar 2 has already generated over ₹50 crore in advance booking gross for the opening weekend. The film’s premiere shows alone have contributed more than ₹30 crore in advance sales, highlighting the massive anticipation surrounding the film.

Additionally, the film has collected around ₹10 crore gross for the pure opening day through advance bookings, excluding block seat numbers. With several days still left before release, these numbers are expected to grow rapidly.

Huge Overseas Response

The film is also witnessing exceptional response in international markets. In North America, the sequel has already generated more than $5 million in advance sales for the opening weekend.

Out of this figure, around $2.5 million comes from opening day and premiere shows alone. Overall overseas advance sales are estimated to be close to ₹60 crore, pushing the worldwide advance booking total to over ₹110 crore gross.

Record-Breaking Trends Before Release

With the current pace of ticket sales, trade analysts believe that ₹150 crore worldwide advance booking could be easily achieved before release. If the momentum continues, the film might even approach the ₹200 crore pre-sales mark, which would be a record for a Bollywood title.

The film has already broken multiple records during the advance booking phase. It has reportedly delivered the biggest premiere day advance sales in India, surpassing OG starring Pawan Kalyan.

Additionally, it has become the first Indian film to cross $5 million in advance booking in North America, a remarkable achievement for a Hindi film.

Apart from Ranveer Singh, the film features a powerful ensemble cast including R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun in key roles.
