Dhurandhar 2 Advance Booking Collection: Ranveer Singh Film Crosses ₹120 Crore Worldwide Ahead of Release

The excitement surrounding Dhurandhar 2, also known as Dhurandhar: The Revenge, is reaching new heights even before its theatrical release. The sequel to the successful spy thriller has already created massive buzz at the box office, with advance booking numbers setting new records.

Led by Ranveer Singh, the much-anticipated action thriller is scheduled to hit theatres on March 19, while special paid preview shows will begin a day earlier on March 18. However, the film’s advance sales have already made headlines across the industry.

Record-Breaking Paid Preview Collections

According to early trade estimates, the paid preview shows of Dhurandhar 2 have already grossed around ₹37.5 crore in the domestic market. This impressive figure has set a new record for the biggest premiere collection for an Indian film.

The previous record was reportedly held by OG, starring Pawan Kalyan, which had collected approximately ₹25 crore during its premiere shows last year.

Trade analysts believe that if the current pace of bookings continues, the preview shows alone could cross ₹40 crore by Wednesday, making it one of the strongest premiere performances in Indian cinema.

Dhurandhar 2 Earnings So Far

Apart from the paid previews, the film has also recorded impressive advance bookings for its official opening day. Reports suggest that Dhurandhar 2 has already earned ₹23 crore gross from opening day advance ticket sales.

So far, nearly 10 lakh tickets have been sold across preview screenings and opening day shows. Industry trackers also indicate that the total domestic advance booking for the paid preview weekend has crossed ₹60 crore.

When combined with international sales and additional opening window bookings, the film’s total advance booking worldwide has now crossed the ₹120 crore mark, signaling a potentially historic start at the box office.

Interestingly, advance ticket sales for the preview shows were opened alongside the trailer release on March 7, while wider bookings for the opening weekend began only last weekend. Since then, ticket sales have grown rapidly, suggesting that the film could break several box office records once it releases.

Dhurandhar 2 Cast and Team

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film features a powerful ensemble cast alongside Ranveer Singh. The movie also stars R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi.

Additionally, Akshaye Khanna, who portrayed the character Rehman Dakait in the first film, is expected to make a special cameo appearance in the sequel.

With strong advance bookings and record-breaking preview collections, Dhurandhar 2 appears ready to make a huge impact at the box office when it arrives in theatres this week.
