The crime thriller Vadh 2, led by veteran actors Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta, has completed its second week at the Indian box office with modest additions to its total collections. According to a report by Pinkvilla, the film added around Rs 25 lakh in its second week, bringing the cumulative total to approximately Rs 3.30 crore (net).
Vadh 2, which hit theaters on February 6, 2026, had a relatively better opening week than its predecessor. The first week alone saw the film collect around Rs 3.05 crore, showing that audiences responded more robustly to the spiritual sequel than to the original. With the second-week contribution of Rs 25 lakh, the movie is now targeting an overall finish close to Rs 3.50 crore by the time its theatrical run concludes.
Despite the respectable numbers for a mid-budget crime drama, Vadh 2 has faced stiff competition in cinemas from other recent releases like O’Romeo and Tu Yaa Main, which have drawn larger crowds and more box office attention. Yet compared to the first film in the franchise, which struggled to break past the Rs 65 lakh mark, this sequel has already turned in a significantly stronger performance.
Directed by Jaspal Singh Sandhu and backed by Luv Films, Vadh 2 blends elements of crime, morality and suspense as it follows its lead characters through a web of crime and consequence. Alongside Mishra and Gupta, the cast includes Kumud Mishra, Yogita Bihani, Akshay Dogra and Shilpa Shukla in key roles, contributing to the film’s narrative depth and dramatic tension.
Although the box office trajectory has been modest, Vadh 2 has garnered attention for its thematic intensity and performances by seasoned actors. With cumulative figures still growing, the thriller is now setting its sights on a respectable finish just above the Rs 3.50 crore mark by the end of its theatrical journey.
