The Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 grabbed headlines after appearing at the Rome Marathon, where it was seen riding through the historic streets of the Italian capital. This marked the first time the electric motorcycle has been showcased on public roads in Europe.

Among them was Royal Enfield’s very first motorised vehicle, a Quadracycle from 1901. Other historic models included the 225cc Model 201 from 1921, the 700cc Meteor from 1953, and a competition-spec 350cc Bullet Trails from 1957.
This mix of past and future created a strong visual statement, showcasing Royal Enfield’s journey from its earliest machines to its upcoming electric era.
The marathon route offered a stunning backdrop for the event, as the motorcycles rode through some of the most famous landmarks in Rome. The cavalcade passed through historic locations such as the Colosseum, Circo Massimo, Piazza Del Popolo, Piazza Di Spagna, and Piazza Navona.
Riding through these ancient streets not only highlighted the brand’s heritage but also added a sense of grandeur to the debut of the Flying Flea C6. The event attracted global attention, with thousands of spectators witnessing the unique display.
