Mahindra XEV 9e Receives New ‘Custom’ Drive Mode Update: Tailor Your Ride Experience!

Mahindra has officially rolled out a significant software enhancement for its flagship electric SUV, the XEV 9e (previously referred to as the 9S). This new update introduces a highly anticipated Custom Drive Mode, allowing owners to fine-tune the vehicle’s performance characteristics to match their personal driving style.

What is the Custom Drive Mode?

The newly introduced Custom mode gives drivers granular control over the vehicle’s dynamics. Unlike preset modes, this feature allows you to independently adjust:

  • Engine Response: Toggle between aggressive power delivery or a smoother, eco-friendly acceleration.
  • Suspension Setup: Calibrate the Intelligent Adaptive Suspension for either a soft, comfortable cruise or a stiff, sporty feel.
  • Steering Weight: Adjust the steering feedback from light (ideal for city traffic) to heavy (perfect for high-speed highway stability).

This new addition joins the existing suite of driving modes, which includes Range, Everyday, Race, and Snow, offering a truly personalized behind-the-wheel experience.

Availability and Variants

Mahindra has confirmed that this update is specifically designed for the high-end trims equipped with advanced suspension hardware.
