OnePlus is set to expand its Ace series with the launch of the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra in China on April 28. Ahead of its official debut, the smartphone has reportedly been listed on the China Telecom certification website, revealing its design, specifications, and storage variants.
The Ace 6 Ultra is expected to be the third model in the lineup, following the Ace 6 and Ace 6T.
OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra Specifications (Expected)
According to the listing, the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra could feature a 6.78-inch flat LTPS BOE display with a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. The company has already confirmed the high refresh rate, which is said to be optimised for low-latency gaming. It may also include a custom touch control chip to enhance responsiveness during gameplay.
For performance, the smartphone is tipped to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, identified with model number MT6993 in the listing. It could be offered in multiple configurations, including 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 512GB, and a top-end 16GB + 1TB variant.
Camera and Battery
In terms of optics, the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra is expected to include a 16-megapixel front camera. On the rear, it may feature a dual camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor (1/1.55-inch) and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens.
The battery is likely to be one of the standout features of the device. The phone is said to pack a large 8,600mAh dual-cell battery, which has also been confirmed by the brand. It is expected to support 120W fast charging.
Build, Software, and Additional Features
The OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra is expected to run on Android 16 out of the box and may include an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for security.
In terms of build, the device is tipped to measure 162.3 x 77.37 x 8.55mm and weigh around 218 grams. It could feature a metal middle frame along with a glass fibre or glass back panel.
The smartphone is also expected to come with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. Additional features may include dual stereo speakers, advanced low-latency gaming optimisations, and support for a dedicated gaming controller accessory.
Availability
The OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra will launch in China on April 28. There is no official word yet on its global availability. Pricing and sale details are expected to be announced during the launch event.
