Vivo X300 Ultra, Vivo X300 FE India Launch Date, Availability

Vivo has announced the India launch date of the Vivo X300 Ultra and Vivo X300 FE. Both smartphones are set to debut in the country on May 6 at 12pm IST, as per official teasers shared by the company.

The launch will expand the Vivo X300 series lineup in India, which already includes the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro models introduced in December 2025. The Vivo X300 Ultra was earlier unveiled in China in March, while the Vivo X300 FE has already been available in select global markets.

Vivo X300 FE Colour Options, Features

The Vivo X300 FE will be offered in Lilac Purple, Noir Black, and Urban Olive colour options in India, as revealed via the company’s microsite. The handset is claimed to feature a slim 7.99mm profile and a weight of 191g, along with an AG finish aimed at improving grip.

The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. It is confirmed to pack a 6,500mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 40W wireless charging.

For optics, the Vivo X300 FE will feature a Zeiss-backed triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 primary sensor, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter with a 110-degree field of view. On the front, it will sport a 50-megapixel Zeiss-tuned wide-angle camera.

Camera features include Zeiss multifocal portrait modes, adaptive zoom flash, and a dedicated street photography mode. The handset will also support the Zeiss Telephoto Extender Gen 2 accessory, offering a 200mm equivalent focal length.

Additionally, the Vivo X300 FE will include AI-powered visual tools for background effects, along with features such as memory fusion and cross-device sharing.

Vivo X300 Ultra Colour Options, Features

The Vivo X300 Ultra will be available in Eclipse Black and Victory Green colour options in India. It is expected to feature a camera-inspired design with a knurled texture and split finish.

The handset will introduce a Zeiss Master Lenses system covering multiple focal lengths. This includes a 50-megapixel Sony Lytia 818 ultra-wide camera (14mm), a 200-megapixel Sony LYTIA 901 sensor (35mm documentary lens), and a 200-megapixel 85mm APO telephoto camera with gimbal-like stabilisation.

The Vivo X300 Ultra will also support external telephoto lenses, including 200mm and 400mm equivalents via Zeiss Telephoto Extender Gen 2. These lenses are said to use a Kepler optical structure and offer enhanced stabilisation.

The company will also offer a Photographer Kit, which includes telephoto lenses, an imaging grip with a built-in 2300mAh battery, tripod collar ring, straps, and mounting accessories for a DSLR-like shooting experience.

For video, the smartphone is confirmed to support 4K recording at 120fps with Dolby Vision, 10-bit log video, and ACES integration. It will also offer multi-focal slow-motion and time-lapse recording, along with autofocus tracking at 60fps.

The Indian variant of the Vivo X300 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and will pack a 6,600mAh battery with 100W wired and 40W wireless charging support. It will also feature a large vapour chamber cooling system for improved thermal performance.

Vivo has confirmed that the X300 Ultra will receive five years of OS updates and seven years of security updates.
