2026 Yamaha Lander 250 ADV
Yamaha has introduced the 2026 Yamaha Lander 250 ADV, an adventure-oriented motorcycle designed for both trails and urban roads, now with a striking new colour option to appeal to riders looking for style along with capability.
For the 2026 update, Yamaha has added a fresh Atacama Brown paint scheme that enhances the bike’s rugged personality. The metallic brown shade adorns the fuel tank and raised front fender, while energetic graphics in red, white and orange elevate its adventurous appeal. The existing colour options — Titanium Grey, Racing Blue and Amazon Green — continue unchanged, giving buyers a range of looks to choose from.
Visually, the Lander 250 ADV combines a raised front beak, bi-functional LED projector headlamp, sleek LED daytime running lights (DRLs), and sculpted tank fairings for a bold stance both on and off paved roads. Other notable design elements include modern rear-view mirrors, a step-up seat for comfort, sturdy grab rails and a high-mounted exhaust — all aimed at reinforcing its adventure bike character.
Under the tank, the 2026 Yamaha Lander 250 continues to use the familiar 249 cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine, producing 20.9 hp and 20.59 Nm of torque. The powerplant is paired with a smooth 5-speed transmission, offering reliable and predictable performance for both on-road and light off-road use.
The chassis features a semi-double cradle frame, with suspension duties handled by telescopic front forks and a monocross rear setup. The bike rides on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wire-spoke wheels, shod in Metzeler tyres that balance grip and comfort. Braking is managed by disc brakes front and rear with single-channel ABS as standard.
With a seat height of 875 mm and a kerb weight of around 156 kg, the Lander 250 ADV strives to strike a balance between agility and confidence for diverse riding conditions. Its 13.6-litre fuel tank supports long rides between fill-ups.
The 2026 model also includes tech-friendly features such as a blackout-style LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. When paired with a smartphone via Yamaha’s Y-Connect app, riders can view ride statistics, average fuel consumption, trip logs, parking location, and other useful data right on their phone screen.
Currently launched in Brazil at around R$ 29,290 (approximately ₹5.12 lakh), the Yamaha Lander 250 ADV has been showcased at events such as the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, hinting at a possible future introduction in the Indian market.
The updated 2026 Yamaha Lander 250 ADV stands out as an appealing choice for riders wanting a versatile, stylish adventure motorcycle with modern aesthetics and connectivity, even as Yamaha continues to tease possible expansion into new markets.
