Skoda Auto India has once again revised the pricing of its popular mid-size sedan, the Skoda Slavia. This move has affected several variants, making the sedan slightly more expensive for buyers across the country.
Price Hike Details
The latest price adjustment sees select Slavia variants becoming costlier by up to Rs. 33,690. The biggest increases are seen in the higher-end trims:
- Monte Carlo 1.0 AT variant has become more expensive by around Rs. 33,690, followed by the 1.5 DSG model at about Rs. 29,207.
- Midrange trims such as Prestige 1.0 AT and Sportline 1.5 DSG have seen hikes of nearly Rs. 27,690 and Rs. 25,897 respectively.
- Other options including Prestige 1.5 DSG are up by around Rs. 23,207, while Signature 1.0 and Sportline 1.0 (both manual and automatic) have increased by up to Rs. 16,586.
Notably, the entry-level Classic 1.0 MT variant’s pricing remains unchanged after this revision.

New Price Range
According to the updated list, the Skoda Slavia now carries an ex-showroom price ranging from approximately Rs. 10 lakh to Rs. 17.99 lakh depending on the variant. These prices reflect the recent hikes and apply to petrol engine options paired with manual, automatic, and DSG transmissions.
Why Prices Are Rising
Automakers like Skoda have been adjusting prices due to rising input and operational costs, which have impacted a wide range of car manufacturers in India. While the company has not publicly detailed this specific hike, similar price adjustments have previously been linked to cost pressures across the auto sector.
Upcoming Slavia Facelift
Alongside the price revision, Skoda is reportedly working on a facelifted version of the Slavia, expected to launch later this year. The updated model may include refreshed design elements, enhanced features, and possibly additional technology upgrades to keep the sedan competitive in its segment.
What This Means for Buyers
For potential buyers considering the Slavia, the recent price rise means slightly higher investment, especially for premium trims. However, with the facelift on the horizon, customers may choose to wait for the updated model that could offer more value. Regardless, the Slavia continues to compete strongly with segment rivals due to its robust performance, feature-packed cabins, and balanced driving dynamics.
